Part 3 of the N·Zone Memorial EP: Your choice is ours!

Hey boys and girls and all of you freaky alien creatures,

The second part of the N·Zone Memorial EP being well under way, but lacking a proper decision for the third part, we have decided that it was up to YOU to decide what should be the track you'd want us jolly tracking madmen to remix or revamp or whatever.

Of course, there are restrictions:
  • The track has to be a previously released N·Zone track
  • It has to be electronic music (trance, dance, aso)
  • It should've been released during the N·Zone New Formation era
After suggestions are made, we'll set up a poll to vote for the most wanted track.

Now click the commentaries' link below and make a suggestion!

Thanks!

EDIT Oct-11nth: Thanks to "someone's" (Meet Dave) carelessness while transfering files from his computer to a USB storage key, the release of Part 2 of the memorial EP might be a bit delayed. Approx. 2 mins of the track have been lost and need to be redone from scratch (so much for backups). We are very sorry, but rest assured that Dave will be punished by having his ass spanked wound with a Roy Orbison CD cover.

A bit of history... and about the N·Zone Core Crew

For those who don't know what the N·Zone group is about, here's a bit of our history...

The N·Zone was and still is what "sceners" call a soundtracking group (you can get a pretty good description of what soundtracking is here. Basicaly, it's a way of composing music using a computer and sound samples, but it has evolved alot since its beginnings). The main crew consisted of 3 guys: Goor00 (aka Goo-roo, Goo-r00), LooF and Voodoo Puppet. The whole idea for the group was born during the mid-nineties (between 93 and 95, hard to track down when it actually happened). The first music was released between 95 and 96 on a magazine CD. It turned out it wasn't too shabby and the group grew to a fullfledged demomaking group, until 97-98. Due to some nasty disputes withing the team, the group splitted and only two members remained. These guys founded KMZ (or Kromozome), a subsection of another group (NPH or Nitrophusion).

The N·Zone group came back in 1999, with new members (Rubicks & Zed). These guys laid the milestones to what actually became the N·Zone New Formation, a fully music oriented group dedicated to spread free electronic music. You could say that this period was the golden age of the group, with many quality members (GDream, Nightflowers, DsT, Project-X, Dj Scorpia, aso), a big and solid fanbase and of course, loads of fantastic music releases. This apogee lasted until 2004-2005, when the group splitted. Mostly due to the members choosing different musical paths.

Today, the N·Zone has reborn, with three members who were part of the original crews at some points of the group's history. Goor00, who's the main founder and the man behind the whole N·Zone thing, LooF, who was part of the first bunch of musicians and last but not least, Rubicks, who helped initiate the N·Zone New Formation.

We are the N·Zone Core. And our goal is to do what we do best: music for us, music for free, music for everyone.

The slogan of the N·Zone New Formation was "Free music for free people". Well, we'll just stick to that ;)

The N·Zone Core's HQ is on
